It’s the time of year to pretend we are all Irish and drink green beer. Â That’s right St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, so lets break out the green polish! I adore green polish, all kinds of greens from the ugly greens to the rich emeralds and everything in between. There was no shortage of greens for me to choose from and there are options out there from drugstore brands to high end, so go for it, rock the green polish this St. Patrick’s day.
First off let’s go full blown St. Paddy’s mani. China Glaze Paper Chasing is the perfect shimmery green to showcase your love of all things Irish. Take a step further with the accent nail of the Irish flag and you will be dancing a jig before you know it. Make sure you click “more” to see my other St. Paddy looks.
Green and gold go together like green beer and more green beer! Pretty Serious VT100 is a nice blend of both.
Leave it to China Glaze to knock out another great green, Starboard. Add some sparkle with OPI Fresh Frog of Bel-Air.
Last but not least, my favorite mani! Essie Mojito Madness with Orly Mermaid Tale glitter bomb for that extra bit of awesome. You can do a funky french with all kinds of polish, don’t be afraid to try this.
I’m not going to lie, I like St. Patrick’s day, but I will be wearing more orange then green. My grandmother always told me that since we were Scottish, we should wear orange. Not wanting to get pinched while growing up I always wore both.
Below are some other greens to help you get your Irish on. Â Have fun this St. Patrick’s Day, but remember green can be worn anytime, so don’t be afraid of unusual colors.
