Spring Break, oh the memories or maybe the lack of memories, which make us yearn for that carefree week of sun, sand and, well, insert your own ideal here. While we may not all be able to take part in this ritual there is no reason why you can’t show your carefree spirit  with your nail polish. Bright fun shades are for everyone, I mean come on, a yellow or a bright green are sure to make you feel transported to those mythical Spring Break destinations. Go ahead and adorn either your tips or toes with any of these hues, take inspiration from them and have lots of fun! Now excuse me while I go imagine I am soaking up the sun at the beach! Be sure to click more for lots of inspiration!
First up a subtle spring-like green from Orly. The shade may be soft and sweet, but the name of this shade, Coachella Dweller and the collection, Hope & Freedom Fest, draws its inspiration from the Coachella Festival in California.
I found two more polishes from Hope & Freedom Fest that were Spring break worthy. Melodious Utopia hits all the right notes with the addition of an orangey, pink shimmer to a creamy dreamy yellow.
The bright pink of Elation Generation is given the sparkly addition of holographic glitter to bring it to Spring Break status.
It’s a Girl Thing!, Jessica Cosmetics Spring 2013 collection is made for Spring Break. The two that I picked to showcase are the sun and sea of the grouping. What at first seem like perfect cream polishes, show off a perfect shimmer when in the sun.  I can not say enough about how much I love these colors!  Alia, Sun-Kissed Beauty is up first followed by Sophia, True Blue.
The next couple of polishes are pure seaside shades with a touch of mermaid! Deborah Lippmann is known for her glitter polishes, as well she should be, as they are awesome. Mermaid’s Dream is a perfect example of this and don’t worry it is not as hard to remove as it seems. Zoya  always has something for everyone and Wednesday and Zuza join together to make a seaside funky french worthy of any mermaid.
I have saved the most daring and fun polish for last.  Neons are not for the faint of heart , but boy can they be fun. Illamasqua is a super fun company that always offers some amazing colors and finishes. Nurture, was from the Rubber Brights collection which is exactly like it sounds. The finish is a great alternative to matte.
So there you have it, whether you are heading to the beach or only imagining yourself on one, the new spring is time for wearing a super fun color. Below is a slide show of the bottle shots of all of the polishes used, some of the polishes were sent for review.  Orly, Zoya and deborah lippmann can be found at Ulta, Illamasqua can be found at Sephora  and Jessica Cosmetics can be ordered online from their site.  Till next time,ta!
