The Queen City’s sweetheart, Emily Maynard, recently launched her own fashion & beauty blog, simply and aptly named www.emilymaynard.com. According to her “about” page, Emily decided to create this blog so she could have a place to write down and share answers to all of the things people ask her – like where she gets various things she wears, etc.  So this is a great thing for local retail, since she does shop around town. I’ve heard from several boutique owners in Charlotte – if Emily buys it, people will snap up the items for themselves asap.
Per her blog, EmilyMaynard.com will share her love for fashion, beauty and lifestyle, and so far, she does seem to have the same beauty concerns we all share – which mascara to use, foundation faux pas, first date outfit ideas. She just looks a whole lot better while she’s pondering them.
