What to wear for Rush.

Every girl knows the stresses and smiles that come with sorority recruitment at a southern school.  At least What To Wear shouldn’t be a worry, as our Charlotte boutiques have many perfect dresses awaiting.  Whether your daughter is heading off to college and you want to help her look her best, or you’re the freshman standing in front of your closet in a quandry, here are our ideas on What to Wear for Rush.

1)  Bright colors give you confidence and show off your fun personality.

2) Breezy fabrics will keep the potential of embarrassing sweat at bay.  Avoid a maxi length if you are heading anywhere hot.

 3) Remember to find that perfect little black dress for pref and a summery white dress that will make you smile every time you look at the hundreds of pictures of you and your new sorority sisters on bid day.  You can usually check your campus greek site for info on what, if any, dress codes/guidelines your Greek campus has for rush.

4) Flats. And more flats.  You will NOT be sorry that you are not in heels.

6) A cute, fairly small cross-body bag.  Hands free, and you’ll have no worries on where to put it as you go from house to house.  With mints, lipgloss / chapstick and kleenex or oil-blotting papers for sure.  And something to pull your hair up and off your neck in between visits.

7) Sunscreen or make up with sunscreen.  And deodorant.  Then more deodorant.  Lots of it.

Here are some pics of what I found in a few boutiques – perfect for rush:
