Bring on The Wines. Holiday Nail colors to get you ready for the season.

Holiday nail colors usually fall into two categories, traditional and trendy. There is something comforting about the thought of the deep rich burgundies and merlot colors that find their way onto our tips and toes as the weather turns colder. I have chosen some new favorites, an old standby and then a little tweak on a classic. So go ahead grab that cozy blanket, cuddle up next to the fire and admire your winter mani! Next time we will delve into the trendy colors from the holiday collections.

OPI Sleigh Ride for Two
Mariah Carey for OPI Sleigh Ride For Two

Mariah Carey and OPI teamed up for a traditional Holiday Collection that includes, various reds, silvers and golds along with some non traditional liquid sand colors. Sleigh Ride For Two is my pick from the reds in the collection because it is just red enough and the gorgeous shimmer. The collection can be found at Ulta, click on Holiday Collection to see all of the colors.

Deborah Lippmann Harem Silks From Bombay matte and with top coat
Deborah Lippmann Harem Silks From Bombay matte and with top coat

I stumbled across this beauty from Deborah Lippmann in Ulta the other day and it was in my basket faster then a quick dry top coat! Harem Silks from Bombay is a matte boysenberry that looks fab with a topcoat as well. This could be my new go to matte, it looks so velvety. Pick yours up from Ulta or online.

Cult Nails Lamestain
Cult Nails Lamestain

Cult Nails Lamestain is a super shiny ox blood crelly, which is a creme and jelly hybrid. From left to right: on its super shiny own, layered over Zoya Seraphina, layered over Essie Shine of the Times and layered over China Glaze Luxe and Lush. Any which way you choose to wear Lamestain, you will be anything but Lame.

OPI Black Cherry Chutney

I would be remiss not to mention one of my tried and true dark reds, OPI Black Cherry Chutney. You can not go wrong with this rich shimmery deep color.

Just looking at these colors makes me feel a warm and toasty! Till next time.
