Feminine, playful, sophisticated, happy. The hot-off-the-presses collab shoe collection by London designer Sophia Webster for J Crew is online today, and if you are looking for a high end stunner to take your summer looks from everyday to smashing, these shoes are for you.
Basically available only online (and in very ltd JCrew stores but obvs, not here) these beauties run between $600 and $700. So they are not for all of us to buy, but we can at least enjoy the sights. With these price tags, these shoes won’t sell out completely in a day like other designer collabs we’ve seen ~ it’s not like the girls who spend $700 on their shoes can’t just buy Sophia Webster whenever they want. But, JCrew certainly makes the designer way more accessible to anyone outside the “1-0-0’s” zip codes. Sizes are already selling out, and you can’t count on much to be on sale later.
Here’s the thing, you could certainly buy a more practical shoe this spring. But it’s doubtful you can buy one which will make you this happy every time you wear it. And if you get a dollar for every time someone says..I LOVE your shoes!….they’ll be paid back in no time. Clap along!
