Where my dry cleaners used to be? Â I’m ok with having to go to the Quick Cleaner’s new location but only if the restaurant replacing them is going to be on the plus side. Â Right now, this is what we see when we “cut thru” which is certainly intriguing:
A quick google of ROCKSALT turned up good scoop from www.charlotterestauaranttraffic.com:
The long delayed RockSalt has finally started construction behind the  Park Road Shopping Center. Owner Travis Croxton is turning the former dry cleaner space into a seafood eatery. The first RockSalt opened in Charlottesville, Virginia last month. Here is the Dinner Menu and the  Raw Bar Menu. The building will undergo major renovations and will feature a large patio overlooking the Little Sugar Creek Greenway which runs behind it. They are aiming for a Spring opening.
That sounds good to me! We love the dining scene in the “Hook” – DUNER’S anyone? – and fresh seafood and cold drinks on the greenway within walking distance is an excellent idea. Â Can’t wait to see what else is on the horizon at the suddenly hip Park Road Shopping Center.
