With much less fanfare than prior openings, Charlotte’s newest H&M opens this week at SP Mall in the MACY’s wing…I guess since we’re all old hat on H&M with the two we’ve already got.  With pretty much the same opening plan as their other stores, this 21,000-square-foot store will open its doors at noon Thursday with an H&M T-shirt for the first 200 shoppers in line and an Access to Fashion Pass, valued at $10 to $300.  There will be lines, of course, unless all the shopping mojo was sucked out by the recent American Girl store opening, rumored to have done something like $330,000 in sales in their first weekend.
In addition, you can donate old or unwanted clothing items before the store opens for the chance to win an H&M gift card valued between $50 and $100 (and maybe receive a voucher for 15% off your entire next purchase – have seen both offers written up this week).
While Charlotte’s newest H&M will not be one of 50 US stores to get the coveted {by sporty spices everywhere} Alexander Wang collab collection also dropping tomorrow – here’s our write up on that – I did spy some cute, low priced, toss after this December faux fur in the display windows when strolling by today.
Will you shop with the huddled masses tomorrow morning? Â Let us know what you think about the new SP store if you do!
