What to Wear to a Summer Wedding

The task of what to wear to a summer wedding is a tricky one. You want to look good, but you are also dressing for the hot weather while keeping your style “event appropriate” — it’s a wedding, after all, not a nightclub.   Many in the ‘mom’ and older generations adhere to the no-white-except-the-bride rule, and some even stick to no-bare-shoulders-in-the-church. A light shawl is the perfect summer wedding accessory.
