It’s no secret we love a good Farmer’s Market and if you live or work in the Southpark area, the Piedmont Row market is back starting this Wednesday (6/4). Stop by Piedmont Row every Wed. afternoon from 1:00pm until 6:00pm through August and enjoy shopping organic fruits and vegetables, fresh baked breads from Great Harvest Bread, grass fed beef & hormone free chicken from Salem Hill Farms, flowers, roasted nuts, homemade soaps and more. Many vendors can accept all forms of payment, but a few may accept cash or check only. Convenient (free) parking is available in the Piedmont Row parking deck.

In February Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen hosted their first ever speed dating cooking class, and they’re back with a Spring version. Learn how to make five spring tapas while mingling with new people. Kick off the weekend with some Jazz.  This Friday The Bechtler is hosting The Ziad Jazz Quartet, as they pay tribute to saxophonist Joe Henderson.  Song selections include “Inner Urge,” “Recorda Me” and “Black Narcissus.”  Choose from either the 6:00 or 8:15 PM shows.
