Scoop Picks: Best Salads at The Lake

Is anyone else guilty of eating a few too many hotdogs and ice cream cones this summer? I know that I am. If you’re looking to get back on track and fit into your cute leggings and sweaters, salad seems like the go-to choice. But eating lettuce day after day can be so boring. So what’s a girl to do? Luckily, our LKN restaurants have some of the best salads around. Here’s the Scoop picks for best salads at the Lake:

The Ahi Tuna at 131 Main – grilled tuna (as rare as you like) mixed with greens, avocado, mango and their amazing ginger vinaigrette.

The Thai Steak at 131 Main – yes, the Scoop girls love 131, but with this mixture of noodles, peanuts and marinated Asian steak, can you blame us?

The Fried Goat Cheese Salad at Jack’s Corner Tap – any salad featuring something fried, is always a good thing in our book. This one features fresh strawberries, candied walnuts and a blueberry-balsamic glaze. Yum!

The Sirloin Salad at Harvey’s Bar and Grille – Really craving a burger? How about a salad with blackened sirloin, blue cheese, and French fries instead? Sounds good to us.

The Greek Salad at Acropolis Café – The setting may not be fancy, but this is the best Greek salad we’ve had at the Lake. The combination of fresh veggies, feta cheese and their amazing salad dressing (also available by the bottle) – is hard to beat.
