What is the J Crew Warehouse Sale and Why Should You Care?
Read our post HERE.  And check out our tips on preparing to shop the sale below.
TEN TIPS ON SHOPPING THE J CREW WAREHOUSE SALE IN CHARLOTTE:
1. There will be lines at opening, probably each day. Â And maybe lunchtime on Th/Fi. If you are cool with waiting, get there early and get in before the crowds get their hot little hands on your dream deals.
2. There are no fitting rooms and no mirrors. So, bring a friend who will give you an honest reflection of how things look.
3. Dress to try on. Â Leggings, jog bra, tank top, something. Â You may want to just try your finds on right there, when you find it. There usually aren’t any dressing rooms anyway.
4. Pass quickly by as much of the sale as you can, sizing up what’s in store this time. Don’t make the mistake of getting lost in the amazing prices on wedding gowns if you are already wed. Â It can happen, trust me, and then you get to denim and the good stuff is all gone.
5. Once you start, grab up what you see that you like. Put it in the bag they give you. You can decide whether you actually want it or not later. Â Everyone does it.
6. Go with a group and split up the search. One of  you grab all the Madewell in your sizes and one of you the swimsuits or Crew Cuts.  It is seriously overwhelming and exhausting to dig thru box after box.  Share the stress.
7. Likewise, this is a great sale to bring a bunch of teenage girls to, to spend all that summer babysitting, lifeguarding money on. Â They will love it.
8. Have your wish list and your sizes memorized, but be open to what they have a lot of in stock at bargain pricing. Â You just never know sale to sale what the hits are. Altho, again, I recommend you refrain from buying the wedding gown if you are already married.
9. Allow for at least two hours shopping time. Yes. I kid you not. And if you are with a group, or teens, or super deal shoppers, pack a snack and be prepared to settle in.
10. Bring cash if you are on a budget, so you don’t overspend. Â There may be a spending limit, like $500 per checkout, so if you are really going for it, plan two trips. No judgement. Even if they are in the same day. Â We’re all shoppers here.
