The Warehouse Performing Arts Center in Cornelius proudly presents Wonder of the World starting Friday, Sept. 11. The show is directed by Marla Brown and from the writer of Fuddy Meers. Wonder of The World is a journey of mad capped fun. Nothing will prepare you for the dirty little secret that the heroine, Cass, discovers in her husband, Kip’s, sweater drawer. It is so shocking that she has no choice but to flee to the honeymoon capital of the world in a frantic search for the life she thinks she missed. It’s a wild ride over Niagara Falls in a barrel of laughs as Cass embarks on a journey of self-discovery that has her crossing paths with a blithely suicidal alcoholic, a lonely tour-boat captain, a pair of bickering private detectives, and a strange caper involving a gargantuan jar of peanut butter, all of which pushes her perilously close to the water’s edge. Carpe Diem! Performances run September 11 thru 26. For tickets call 704-619-0429 or visit www.warehousepac.com. Showtimes vary but tickets coast don’t. It’s $20 or $15 Seniors/Students/Groups. (FYI, SJP stars on this on Broadway. Holla!)
