At scoop we have quite a thing for shopping. And dogs (I mean, have you seen @thedogist on instagram?). So naturally a feature on our favorite shop dogs in Charlotte had to happen. These furry associates are at the top of their sales game, batting those precious eyes and licking unassuming shoppers to entice them to make a purchase. 🐾
COTTAGE CHIC
Tequila welcomes guests at Cottage Chic, frequently showing off the pet-friendly line of Bella Notte linens that are machine washable.
LUNA
Gracie Belle holds down the fort at LUNA and has a thing for pink.
LUXE ANGEL BOUTIQUE
Ruby is the friendliest of shop dogs, waiting at the door for her clients to come see her for some styling assistance at the boutique. You may find her taking a little snooze between clients on her favorite green rug or promoting the cute line of dog collars sold at Luxe Angel. Ruby is sporting the sunflower collar with sparkle bone charm.
LOTUS
LOTUS store manager Krista is the mom of Timber, a red Cockapoo who works a few shifts a week at the store. Timber is all about customer service and especially enjoys helping customers carrying treats.
LOTUS store owner Jackie rescued Shih Tzu George from California and now he frequently travels between the east and west coast stores. George has lots of energy and love to give to LOTUS shoppers.
THE FURNITURE CONNECTOR AND HIGH COTTON HOME
Scrappy is the Shop Dog for The Furniture Connector and High Cotton Home. You will frequently find him hanging his head out of a Nissan Juke traveling between the two stores. Scrappy’s parents Rodney and Mark rescued him and he barks his way up the ladder to be the best greeter in the furniture industry.
MONKEE’S
Olive is the greeter of the store, and like all fashionable Monkee’s women, she likes to be noticed when you walk in the door. If you don’t pay her any mind, she will follow you around until she gets the attention she needs. Olive spends her days like most gals want to, sunbathing. Her favorite spot to stretch out and work on her tan is on the carpet next to the store windows. We think Olive is amazing so come by the store and see her for yourself!
THE PINK HANGER
First up are Roger & Teddy at The Pink Hanger. Teddy is a chocolate lab & Roger is a black lab mix, both who love kids & barking at the mail man.
Then there is Rod Stewart & yes, he looks just like Rod Stewart! He is a terrier mix. He loves his mommy, store owner Jen, and has so much fun running in circles around the store and greeting shoppers at the door.
Clients Cooper and Cooper love to stop by and visit their furry friends at The Pink Hanger once in a while. One is a cuddly little shitzu that loves greeting customers & the other a big fluffy golden doodle that loves posing for pics!
DOLL.
Shop owner Trish has three furry associates that were rescued all the way from Mexico! Chi Chi is a Chihuahua originally from Puerto Vallarta that is often on the store schedule welcoming customers and helping make shopping decisions. Rigo comes from Cancun and Rita from Playa del Carmen, but they prefer time at home opposed to working.
