Come out and celebrate Fall with the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra ‘s Fall Concert. Winners of the 2015 Concerto Competition will be honored and attendees will enjoy the music of Rossini’s Overture to La Gazza Ladra and Britten’s Soirées musicales, modeled after Rossini.

Charles Mack Citizen Center
Think live music is just for warm weather? Think again. The Music on Main indoor concert series is revving up for their 2015 season that runs November through March. This month’s concert at The Charles Mack Citizen Center features New Car Caviar, a Pink Floyd tribute band. General admission tickets are $10 and VIP (meet & greet included!) are $20.

Armour Street Theatre
Step into the tap dancing shoes of Millie, a small town girl with big city dreams in the Davidson Community Players’ take on Thoroughly Modern Millie. There will be jazzy tunes, witty characters and lots and lots of dancing! Catch performances November 6 through November 15.

The Billy Graham Library will welcome guests with birthday cake and the opportunity to sign a birthday banner for Mr. Graham. History comes alive and maybe even into your home this weekend at Latta Plantation. Browse pottery, jewelry, paintings and more from local vendors. Take a house tour and learn about the way it used to be done with live book binding, woodworking and cooking demonstrations. Enjoy food vendors and beverages served up by Olde Mecklenburg Brewery will be serving. Admission is only $5 Adults, $4 for Seniors/Students and free for children five and under.
Stand Up Comedy Showcase

Bella Love’s Standup Comedy Showcase will feature the area’s best up-and-coming comics in an upbeat, side-splitting laughfest. features some of the area’s funniest up-and-coming comics in one fast-paced, side-splitting, hilarious evening! In addition to the nine talented comics, attendees will enjoy beer and wine specials. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

History Rural Hill
Say goodbye to Fall and welcome in Winter with a basket of fresh steamed oysters. Rural Hill is bringing nationally recognized Chef Dan Huntley to serve up this Southern tradition this Sunday. Each $10 ticket includes one basket of 8-10 steamed oysters, with lemon, cocktail sauce and crackers. There will also be music, hayrides, and a bonfire to round out the perfect Fall afternoon. You must purchase your tickets online in advance!
