Add Hemp Seed To Your Diet For Big Health Benefits

There are some foods that have always sounded a bit too healthy even for a health nut like me (such as wheat grass shots).

Up until just a few months ago, eating anything containing hemp sounded especially unappealing.  However, I continually read about its many valuable nutrients and decided that I should be a little more open-minded.

What makes hemp seeds so nutritious?

Well, they are a valuable source of omega-3 and omega-6, fiber, minerals, and a great source of easily digestible protein- making them ideal for those who are vegan.  Hemp seeds also provide GLA which helps us burn fat and maintain a healthy weight, decreases inflammation, and can improve our hair, skin, and nails.

And perhaps most importantly, it actually tastes really good and has a pleasant nutty flavor that I’ve come to really enjoy.

If you’ve never tried hemp seeds before, I recommend starting off by sprinkling them over your salads, yogurt, or cereal or by trying any of the following recipes- especially the smoothies!
