100 Days of Christmas

Historic Latta Plantation
What was Christmas like one hundred years ago? Escape the world of iPads and #selfies at Latta Plantation’s One Hundred Years of Christmas to find out. The historic site will be decked out like it’s Christmas in the 18th and early 19th centuries, with characters telling stories of what it was like to celebrate in the early days of the Latta home. Visitors will enjoy open hearth cooking demonstrations, open-house tours, caroling and more. Admission: $8 Adults, $7 Seniors/Students, free for kids five & under.

Culinary Tour through Davidson

It’s officially time for tree lightings, and Cornelius is kicking off the holiday season in style. Come out on Saturday evening to help them deck the halls. Festivities include carriage rides, arts and crafts, special performances and a visit from Santa himself. Come out early and don’t miss the lighting of the tree at 5:30 PM.
