It seem like it’s all about Black Friday, Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday, but that’s not what really excites the crew at SHARE Charlotte. This upcoming Tuesday our city celebrates the biggest giving day of the year, #GivingTuesdayCLT. Share Charlotte is trying to reach a goal of raising $2 million on Giving Tuesday. 12/1/15.
Most people thinking about shopping this weekend. Not everyone is thinking about giving on Tuesday. If you are not sure what to do on #GivingTuesdayCLT, here are three things you can do right now to make Charlotte a better place.
Give a little to your favorite nonprofit. Here are 108 local nonprofits who would love some TLC. There are $50,000 in matching funds available to them that will help your donation do even more good.
Give a little to everyone. Can’t decide which nonprofit to give to? Donate to the general fund which will be divided evenly between all participating organizations.
Head over to Heist Brewery Tuesday night December 1st for the “#GivingTuesdayCLT $2 Million or BUST Party” and enjoy music, raffles, a special Heist brew and count down with the SHARE crew as the community closes in on the $2 million goal for the campaign. Hope you can be there!
