GW is a designer thrift store with womens, mens, decor and small furniture popping up at EpiCentre for one week. Brought to you by Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, GW features designer labels in a boutique style shopping experience, unlike anything you have ever seen in a Charlotte thrift store OR from Goodwill. Scoop joined several local bloggers in a pre-opening photo shoot at GW last week, HERE, and we were all amazed to find out that Goodwill stocked the store. Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman, Jbrand and more at thrift store prices. Beautifully merchandised. If you love thrift shopping, do not miss this pop up.

#ShopUptownCLT at Tinselbox: A Holiday Pop-Up Shop featuring 16 vendors, complimentary holiday beverages from Not Just Coffee, and festive gift-wrapping. The shops will be open Wednesday – Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM, with complimentary wine and appetizers served every evening from 5-7 PM. Located in the old Montaldo’s building (currently Foundation For The Carolinas), Tinselbox will bring the magic of shopping back to Uptown during your lunch hour, your mid-afternoon coffee break, and your after-work outings. You’ll find everything from jewelry, scarves, and dresses, to candles, chocolate, and books for you and your loved ones.
Cruise Carts will also be running shuttles throughout Uptown for your convenience.

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery’s 6th Annual Weihnachtsmarkt returns to the Biergarten this December. Weihnachtsmarkt is OMB’s version of a traditional, German-inspired “Christmas Market” with open air booths selling gifts and baked goods from local, Charlotte vendors. Winter seasonal beers — Dunkel, Bauern Bock, and Yule Bock — will all be on tap, along with homemade Glühwein: a delicious, spiced red wine served hot and fresh.
Weihnachtsmarkt will then run for three weekends this year (Dec 4-5; 11-12; 18-19).
