The 16th annual Art With Heart Auction is just around the corner. We’ve got the who, what, where and why for you below PLUS a chance to win two free tickets!
WHO: Back in 1999, a group of local Charlotte women came together with a goal to help fund programming for victims of domestic violence. Over the past 16 years the event has grown into one of the area’s premier fundraisers with corporate sponsors that include Bank of America, American Airlines and more.
WHAT: It’s easy to support a great cause when it’s this much fun. Art With Heart attendees will enjoy a live and silent art auction, entertainment, hors d’ouevres and an open bar. Bid on fine works of art (you can browse the featured piece online here) while doing good in the community. They’ve even made bidding easy with an app on your phone to help out during the silent auction. You’ll be able to view, bid, win and checkout simply and easily.
WHERE: The Art With Heart Auction will be held at Founders Hall in Uptown. Wind through the stunning art galleries and bid on your favorites.
WHY: We’re glad you asked. The Art With Heart event has raised over 1 million dollars in funding for SafeAlliance, a non-profit providing crisis assistance to those victimized by domestic violence, sexual assault or child abuse. This year’s theme is “In our Backyard” with the intention of opening the eyes of Mecklenburg County residents to the domestic violence that tragically occurs in our own community.
