The plastic surgeons at Hunstad Kortesis Plastic Surgery Center + MedSpa are launching an innovative program called EMERGING HOPES to provide life-changing plastic surgery procedures from board-certified surgeons to deserving individuals in North and South Carolina.
Drs. Hunstad, Kortesis and Bharti have witnessed first-hand cosmetic surgery’s incredible ability to transform lives from the outside-in. Their goal in creating the Emerging Hopes program is to both give back to their community by providing up to $175,000 in procedures to those who cannot afford them, and to lead the aesthetics community in an initiative of unmatched compassion.
Potential recipients must meet certain health, income and other criteria, and will go through an application process, submission review and in-office consultation. The complete process can be viewed here, and the application is online here.
The Emerging Hopes gift is open to adults (21+) who could benefit both physically and emotionally from cosmetic procedures, but do not have the available resources to do so. This includes survivors of domestic violence, cancer, accidents and those whose insurance won’t cover the cost of their requested surgery such as excess skin removal, birth defects and much more.
The enrollment period begins on May 16, 2016 and ends on June 3, 2016. Applications sent after this date will not be considered.
If you’d like to see Drs. Kortesis and Bharti discuss the program in person with a patient, you can tune into Fox 46 Good Day Carolina at 7:20am on this Thursday 5/19. And you can click the icons below to link to more information on the program.
