scoopEATS: Where to Eat This Month in Charlotte. With BOGO Wine.

So many restaurants, so little time. It can be a bit overwhelming to figure out where to eat each week. The good news is that there are tons of new spots to visit, and that, in response, some old favorites have upped their game. Win Win for us.

Since scoop likes to be your resource for the best picks for the good life in Charlotte, we’re kicking off the month with a new feature called #scoopEATS. Our take on where to eat around town. We are partnering with as many of the upscale restaurants we can, to bring you the pick of the foodie news and to-do’s each week. Things you might not know about. Like, for example:

CORKBUZZ Buy One, Get One Free Bottles of Wine on Monday Nights.

Yes indeedy. Every Monday at Corkbuzz in SouthPark, you can buy a bottle of any wine on their list to drink with your dinner, and Corkbuzz will give you that same bottle to take home with you for free. You do need to sit down and eat your dinner (it’s not the ABC store after all) but other than that, BOGO and GO GO. This offer applies to all wines on their list. And I cannot EVEN with their list.

Stop reading now to text your girls and reserve your table.

Ok, Welcome back.

Also at Corkbuzz on Sundays this month ~ their weekly Clambake, for groups of 4 for a special menu at $50 pp plus tax and tip. Your party of 4 will enjoy a full clambake meal, without having to make the trip to the shore:

Blueberry Salad, cucumber, goat cheese, marcona almonds, honey vinaigrette
Cucumber Salad, radish, shallots, red wine vinegar
Wild NC little neck clams, PEI mussels, wild NC shrimp, andouille sausage, potatoes, and turnips
Pickled Cabbage Slaw
Dessert Platter, Graham Cracker Creme Brulee, Bourbon Chocolate Cake, Ricotta Doughnuts

And for those of you who either love it or want to learn more about it, Corkbuzz is hosting a Rosé and Burgers class this coming Wednesday, 8/10, with a tasting of six rosé wines alongside a juicy burger and fries. You’ll learn about the different ways rosé is made; their latest favorites and how to pair this popular wine.
