Yes, Messy Hair is Trending for Fall.
If you are anything like me you are getting the itch to change your hair and embrace fall’s beautiful warm tones. Well, stress no longer because the hair trends for fall are seriously a girl’s best friend. To sum it up with one word…natural. Yep, that’s it, the more natural and the more ‘you,’ the better. No spending time blowing out your hair for 45 minutes in the morning. If you find yourself thinking, ‘I could never do that,’ here are the effortless, less fuss, natural trends in a nutshell.
Texture – Whether you scrunch your hair with some moveable hairspray in the morning or sleep in a braid, no professional tools are needed for this look. The more natural, or shall we say, “bed head” the better. Yes, the surfer girl is entering pumpkin season and I know I will welcome her with open arms.
Knotting – the messy, perfected, and half-up knots are all in style. Yep, this look can literally take you less than two minutes to achieve and you will be sporting one of fall’s fondest looks. Throw up an organic bun with some “whispies” and you are in. This trend literally has me jumping up and down as you will catch me in this look 90% of the time.
Dress it up – since we are spending less time messing with our hair and mastering a look, we will spend a few additional moments dressing our organic locks with some metallic barrettes, jeweled bobbies, or fun headbands. So whether you go pull out your grandmother’s old broach or pick up a new hair accessory, glam up your organic hair and rock it with confidence.
Rose Gold Blond – yep, no carmel warm tones like I was craving. It’s all about the rose gold blond. I honestly thought, ‘how awful?’ when I first learned about this trend. Surprisingly enough, I can now say that I am kinda in love. If you can pull of this look, seriously, you should go for it. I mean, how gorgeous is this picture?
That’s a wrap for hair. Remember that natural is key; well, unless you go rose gold blond, of course. Whichever you choose, don’t forget to dress it up with some jewels. If you are spending more than 10 minutes on your hair, you are not on trend. Save the time to add a little more shadow to your “dramatic eye.”
