As a child my parents used to pile us in the backseat of the Astro minivan (80’s baby anyone?) and drive around our small town for hours looking at Christmas light displays. And I absolutely hated it. Ironically this annual holiday tradition has become a favorite over the years as my husband and I cruise around Charlotte every week searching for amazing holiday displays to enjoy. And lucky for you, I’ve rounded up as many local area light displays as I could find for you to enjoy too. Some oldies but goodies have taken a break this year but don’t worry, there are some great newcomers in the group as well. So grab some hot chocolate, pile the kids in the SUV (they’ll thank you one day) and check out these Charlotte area Christmas light shows and displays:
