Winter Queen’s Feast is Coming Up. Our Picks for Where to Eat, Better Reserve Now.

Charlotte Restaurant Week®, aka Queen’s Feast, runs from Jan 20 – 29, DINNER only, at well over 100 local restaurants, with three (or 4) courses for $30 or $35 per person. The Queen’s Feast website has all the participating restaurants listed alphabetically and by neighborhood, click here. Instead of just copying that and pasting it below, we dug thru it a little more and picked out our top choices, using a combo of what they’re offering and whether we’ve tried and loved them  in the past. There are LOTS more on the list, of course.

This Winter brings a few welcome treats to Queen’s Feast, like some places are including a glass of wine and CO is even doing complimentary cocktails. (That place is already my jam, now it’s gonna be my jammed jam. Jeez). Even if you avoid Restaurant Week every year (and you know who you are ~ you’re all meeting at the bar at Stagioni as far as I can tell) it’s worth a look at the menu options just to see what’s out there.

Four Things To Do for Queen’s Feast:

Here are scoop’s picks for Where to Eat for Queen’s Feast:

Dilworth

300 East ($35) – Why did we pick this beloved standby? Always good, PLUS one Glass of Wine is included in the $35 price.

Fran’s Filling Station ($30) – Extensive list of choices. Plus, the meatballs.

Myers Park & Eastover

Lumiere French Kitchen ($35) – You’ll get an Amuse Bouche + 5 dessert options, including Salted-Butter Apple Galette with Caramel-Hazelnut Ice Cream or Chocolate Praline Brioche Bread Pudding. Plus, their reg menu price for an entree gets close to the $35, so this should be a good deal.

CO ($35) – A Cocktail Pairing comes with THREE of your 4 courses at CO. Dude. We highly recommend the Edamame Gyoza, either of the salad course and the Curry Laksa. Plus of course the Strawberry Spring Rolls + Nutella dipping sauce with your complimentary Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Cathead pecan vodka.

Midtown & Uptown, Elizabeth & Plaza Midwood

Vivace ($35) Because their Queen’s Feast menu is basically their regular dinner menu, i.e. lots of choice.

Sea Level ($35) For offering one of the more extensive seafood options on the list this year.

City Smoke ($30) Never been, but looks like the most food for your money Uptown

Fahrenheit ($35) Good time to try this one if you have not already.

Carpe Diem Restaurant & Caterers ($35) An all time Restaurant Week favorite.

Bistro La Bon ($35) For offering 4 courses with no upcharges.

SouthPark

WP Kitchen + Bar ($30) For offering almost their entire menu for the $30 price. Nice.

Upstream ($35) Always a favorite, but especially for Queen’s Feast.

Corkbuzz Restaurant & Wine Bar ($35) Same.

Lake Norman

Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails ($35) For their add-ons and daily special drink prices to go with. Plus it’s delish.

Sabi Asian Bistro ($30) Great offering for the price.

Outside Charlotte

Heirloom ($35) (Mountain Island Lake) for the HFC {Heirloom Fried Chicken} served with truffle mac & cheese, red cabbage slaw, rooftop honey hot sauce

The Pump House ($30) Glass of wine included!
