Last weekend to grab a beer at Lake Norman Brewing Company

It’s true. Lake Norman Brewing Company is packing up it’s Mooresville location and moving to Fayetteville. There, they’ll serve with a focus on veterans and public servants under the new name Airborne New Company. Their last day in business will be Friday, February 24.

Celebrate beers from Colorado Springs’ Trinity Brewing at bottled & tapped. They’ll have bottle samples and great beers on tap, plus live music from Karl Stolz beginning at 7 pm.

Davidson College – Duke Family Performance Hall

Local public and private high school singers come come together with a day of mini-concerts on the Davidson campus. The Joy of Singing program concludes with the Davidson College Choirs joining the high school singers for a combined grand finale. 3 pm. Buy tickets here.

Zero K “Race for a cause”

Do some good without running a step at the Annual Zero K race. It’s all the fun of a race without the running: 80s workout gear, live music, photos at the “finish line”, raffles and more. Proceeds benefit the Hope House of Huntersville.

Grab the family and get out there. Round out the weekend with a naturalist-guided two-mile hike around the Piedmont Prairie. Free.
