CHARLOTTE LATIN
Charlotte Latin School Summer Programs has one of the largest variety offerings of camps in town. With choices ranging from engineering, the arts, and sports to specialized cooking camps, Scholastic Writing and photography. Scoop Tip: Charlotte Latin’s Camp Victor is ALWAYS OPEN with rolling admission. You can register as late as the Sunday evening prior or even just walk-in on Monday. AND Camp Victor will be offered the week and the DAY of July 4th this summer.
PROVIDENCE DAY SCHOOL
Providence Day Summer Programs continues to spark creativity in day campers from all over the Charlotte area. More than 200 camps and courses give kids the chance to explore science, art, drama, music, sports, and culture….and catch up on academics, too.
Future Chargers Football Camp ~ NEW! (June 12-16; rising grades 2-7): Learn the moves of Providence Day’s championship football team and meet Sir Purr, too.
Young Filmmakers Studio (July 17-21; rising grades 6-12): Fans of Spielberg, Scorsese, and Stone will enjoy learning how to write, create, and edit blockbuster home movies using their own equipment.

Math CAMMP (June 26-30 AND July 10-14; rising grades 1-7): Developed by UNC Charlotte professors Dr. Michael Green and Dr. Jack Piel, Math CAMMP is an International Award winner recognized for its creativity and innovation and for helping children find the fun in mathematics.
Charger Chill Day Camp (June 5-9, June 12-16, July 3-7, July 24-28, July 31-August 4; rising grades K-5) For the traditional summer day camper, Charger Chill is packed with fun, fun, fun! Join in sports, games, and activities that help kids stay cool through the dog days of summer.

CHEF ALYSSA’S KITCHEN
Back for the 3rd Year, Chef Alyssa’s Kids Culinary Camps are meant to be more than your ‘cookie-cutter’ cooking school camps. Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen wants to teach the young chefs how to create fantastic dishes! Each week-long session involves recipes making real, adult dishes and focuses on using local, healthy and fresh ingredients. All sessions have a limited capacity and we request each child has at least some experience in the kitchen. All campers receive a full recipe book and Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen apron. $25 sibling discount available.
All sessions are Monday – Friday from 9 am – 1 pm.

DISH IT OUT
Week of June 12 to Week of August 7 (no camp week of July 3)
Monday to Friday from 10am-1pm
Summer is the perfect time for kids to explore their creative side and Summer Art Camp at Dish It Out Pottery Studio at Stonecrest is all about self-expression, creativity and fun. Kids ages 7+ will enjoy week-long sessions from 10 a.m to 1 p.m., Monday to Friday. Sessions include a mix of pottery painting, mosaics, canvas painting and fun crafts. This year campers will complete seven pottery based projects, an acrylic canvas painting, a multi-media canvas, a mosaic piece and several fun crafts, including decorating a canvas bag to carry all their masterpieces home at the end of the week. Various sessions will include learning sponge painting, sgrafitto, pointillism, blow painting and so much more. Classes are limited to 16 so each child gets assistance and support as needed.
FLOUR POWER KIDS COOKING SCHOOL
Drop your Lil’ Chef to a FLOUR POWER KIDS COOKING SCHOOL camp and you’ll pick up a newly self-confident child who will beg to cook dinner for you!
Your Lil’ Chef will create his or her own snacks and lunch and we’ll supply everything that he or she will need for an amazing week or day filled with newly developed life-long skills including math, science, reading, etiquette, and chemistry! Weekly camp themes include Cook Like a Celebrity Chef, Around the World in 5 days and Wizardly Kitchen Science.
Camps are offered for ages 5-12 and run from 8:30am to 4pm with an option for extended morning and after care.
