Summer is coming…for some it is already here. School is out and kids need something to do so you can do what you do. There are only so many days you can spend at the pool or the park or the library.
That’s where Charlotte Latin’s Camp Victor comes in.
For the children, Camp Victor is more than a camp. It’s a summer experience. A place where students can explore, create, learn, and expand on new found interests. Camp Victor teaches your campers how to be critical thinkers, team players, and artists; adding a new level of interaction within small group settings. From morning rally and water day to special guests and cooperative activities, campers will create a new language that will encourage them to be not only life learners but camp learners as well. Camp Victor is an environment where play meets discovery and creativity finds new outlets.
Camp Victor has it all, with SEVEN sessions to choose from, each with a fun theme like “Glow For It!”, “Tie Dye Disco” and “Party in the USA”. It is open to ages 5 to 9 years old.
With you, the parents, in mind, Camp Victor is all inclusive ~with before care (7:30-9am) and after care (4-5:30pm), a hot lunch each day, water fun on Thursdays and much more. And Camp Victor (and most of Charlotte Latin’s camps) offers bus service to and from camp from Christ Episcopal Church in Eastover.
It’s set up to meet your family’s needs ~ your child can attend morning only (9am-12pm), afternoon only (1pm-4pm) or full day (9am-4pm). Possibly the best thing about Camp Victor is its rolling admission policy. They are basically never “full”, walk ins are welcome and you can call the weekend before and enroll your kids for camp.
It’s even open for Fourth of July. Many day camps are closed for the week of the Fourth of July…not only is Camp Victor open that week, they are open on the Fourth of July! Say what? Yes, July 4 is a Tuesday this year, so if you have the day off but no travel planned, your kids can go to camp in the morning or even all day. You can have some “me time” before the family dinner and fireworks. Yes, please.
At Camp Victor your children will enjoy traditional camp activities like arts & crafts, games, water play, and camp songs. In addition, Camp Victor campers will participate in STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering and Math) activities, cooking projects, tie-dying, and much, much more.
Sign them up for one week, or all seven. Remember, Camp Victor is there whenever you need some camp fun…it’s never “full”, and you can register as late as the Sunday before. Charlotte Latin has your back, and summer 2017 at Camp Victor is sure to be one to remember.
