KING TINGER 5K ~ June 3
7:30am – Team challenge race put on by Run for Your Life – You and three friends will run together as a team in this 5K and enjoy Rita’s at the finish line. Let your kids join in the fun with the Tiger Trot 1K. $7-$30 registration fee.
NODA 5K ~ June 3
6:00pm starting near the NODA Brewery – Runners receive a free beer for crossing the finish line. Celebrate your run at the afterparty with beer, food trucks and live music. $35-$40 registration fee.
CAROLINA’S CARE 5K ~ June 3
8:00 am at McAlpine Creek – Benefits Carolina’s CARE Partnership which works to prevent the spread of HIV and support those living with HIV. $30-$35 registration fee.
RIVER JAM RUN ~ June 8
6:30pm – This Thursday night race takes place the second Thursday of every month until September. Distances vary from 5k-10k. Registration is $15 – $20.
RACE TO THE TASTE 5K ~ June 10
9:00am – The fourth annual race will take place at the Taste of Charlotte festival in downtown Charlotte at Trade St and 4th St. The Cupcake run will follow at 9:45am. A donation from the race proceeds will be made to the Checkers Charitable foundation. $15 – $43 registration fees.
MOONLIGHT BOOTLEGGER 5K ~ June 17
8:55 pm ~ Run the third year of the night time 5k at the Anne Springs Close Greenway. Finish off the race with live music and moonshine cocktails. $43 for racers, $15 for spectators.
HEARTTEST YARD + SHOWMARS 5K ~ June 17
8:00am – 100% of the proceeds of the second annual run will support Levine Children’s Hospital and the children affected by congenital heart disease and other disorders. Greg Olsen and his family will lead a parade in pre-race activities. $30 registration fee.
BREW DASH ~ June 17
9:00am competition time 11:30am Recreational activities – Finish your run by siping craft brews and enjoying live music at the USNWWC. Prices run from $30 – $50 depending on what your choose to participate in.
STRIDES FOR SHELTER 5K ~ June 24
8:30am at McAlpine Creek – Proceeds from the race will benefit A Child’s Place in Charlotte which works to support homeless children and the impact their housing situation has on their education. Registration is $15-$35.
