Can You Plan Your Charlotte Wedding Using Just Instagram?

Planning a wedding in the age of likes, wedding hashtags and live streams is nothing like our mothers could have imagined. Almost nine months after my own, I still find myself swooning over a bride’s creative place settings and tearing up at a stranger’s beautifully produced wedding video I found online.

With inspiration available on every screen, it’s easy to get lost in a sea of peony dreams and dress inspo and then look up and realize you’ve yet to make any real decisions. The flowers you pinned are out of season. Your perfect dress? No longer carried by the designer. And your wedding is just months away.

So, can you feel free to *gasp* skip the Pinterest board and find local wedding vendors on Instagram that will truly be able to make your vision come to life?

The answer is a big, huge, resounding YES.

When it comes time to make decisions, Instagram can be a surprisingly handy source. With a feed of real past work, sprinkled in with some personality, the social network makes it easy to discover, be inspired by and contact your vendor dream team.

For your viewing pleasure, we’ve rounded up some Charlotte wedding vendor pages that make us have all the heart eyes. Whether you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle or simply appreciate a good updo, give these local vendors a follow.

Note: QC brides are lucky to have a plethora of world-class wedding vendors just a double-tap away. With this list as a starting point, if you know of a vendor we missed who made your wedding the best.day.ever., please share with us in the comments!

There you have it. While we don’t necessarily think a 21st century couple needs to rely solely on Instagram to plan their wedding, you’ve got to admit, ideas, inspiration and contacts at the scroll of your phone is a pretty good thing.
