Get lost in the storyline of this suspense thriller meets beach party at The Warehouse Performing Arts Center through August 12. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors and students.

R & D (Research & Drinking) Tasting Event
Ghostface Brewing, Mooresville | 8 p.m.

Do a little research at Ghostface’s monthly R&D (research and drinking, obviously) event. Attendees will taste six brand new beers and vote on their favorite, which will be put into production. Tickets include unlimited tastings during the event, raffle prizes and an R&D pint glass. $20 per person.

Along the way, try your luck for a winning hand as playing cards are drawn at designated stops. Stick around for more giveaways, food, music and fun post-ride. Proceeds benefit the non-profit Food for Days: A Backpack Meals Ministry.

You’re not the only one with a sweet tooth. Bring Fido to Three Dog Bakery for doggie cake and ice cream, and to meet a few new adoptable friends.

Yacht Yoga for a Cause
Luxury Yacht Charters, 18020 Kings Point Drive | 8:30 a.m.

Start your weekend off right with yoga with a cause. Atop the deck of Lake Norman’s newest and largest yacht, Charters for Charity and Shannon Wiseman-Laub team up with proceeds benefiting local non-profit Bring it for Braylon. $20 per person.

Little Chef’s Day
Huntersville Growers’ Market | 8 a.m.

Chefs-in-training will love the hands-on cooking classes with items from the market at Huntersville Grower’s Market. Jump around afterwards with Springfree Trampoline, arts and crafts and reading activities.

Brewery Battle for Good
The Kilted Buffalo, Huntersville

Four breweries will battle it out for your vote this Saturday for the title of Best Beer. All money raised proceeds the NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
