The Jazz Room: Phillip Whack plays John Coltrane
Blumenthal Stage Door Theater | Saturday and Sunday evenings

This monthly series is back with four performances honoring John Coltrane. Saxophonist Phillip Whack will play performances Friday at 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

QC Distillers Showcase

Reynolds Family Wine Dinner

Art In Motion

29th Annual Great Gatsby Gala Benefiting the National MS Society Greater Carolinas Chapter

Don your best 1920s fashions for the 29th Great Gatsby Gala. Kick up your heels on the dance floor, taste the best offerings from Charlotte restaurants, bid at the silent auction and more. General admission tickets are $75, while VIP (includes access to the Speakeasy Lounge, exclusive bites, private bar and a gift) is $150. Black tie or 1920s attire. Walk A Mile in Her Shoes

Participants walk a mile in women’s high-heeled shoes and compete for titles of highest heels, highest fundraisers and best team. LoSo Block Party 2017
Lower South End: Yancey Rd. & Southside Dr. | 11 a.m.

The breweries, distilleries and businesses that make LoSo the place to be are hosting a block party you won’t want to miss. Yancey Road and Southside Drive will be closed to traffic and open for live music, food, drinks and easy access to your favorite hot spots. Proceeds benefit the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation, the Humane Society of Charlotte and 24 Foundation.
