2nd Annual Whiskey & Wood

Southend Reclaimed and Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse are teaming up with Susan Vaughn Designs for the 2nd Annual Whiskey & Wood event. Welcome fall with games on the porch, live music, food and whiskey and wine tastings. Proceeds benefit Kids for Kindness. $20 per person.

Southern Spirits Road Tour
Departing from Brooklyn South Pizza, Cornelius | 11 a.m.
Take a tour of the area’s best distilleries, all with the help of an expert guide. The day starts off with free pizza at Brooklyn South and continues with visits to Muddy River, Doc Porter’s, Good Road CiderWorks and Great Wagon Road. Cheer along as the Cornelius Police Department take on the Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue in the 2017 Guns & Hoses Charity Softball game. Proceeds from T-shirt sales, raffle tickets and concessions will benefit TopDeck Foundation.
Lakefront Hops Fest

The 2017 Great Chili Cook-Off

Is it really fall without a chili cookoff? Taste the top contenders, enjoy live music, sip on beer and wine and shop craft vendor. Plus, there’s ton for kids to do! Have a blast in the inflatable kids zone built just for them. Admission is $10, while kids nine and under are free.
Lake Norman Summer Concert Series
