Downtown Concord, Union St (Concord)
Strolling for candy who’s in? Take the kids out for trick or treating and other fun entertainment in the streets of downtown Concord.

Young learners can engage with books, activities, stories and songs that encourage language and pre-reading skill development to help them grow into successful readers.

Thursday, Nov 2
Moms On The Move: Segway Tour, 9:45 – 11:30 a.m. ($20)
Latta Plantation Nature Center (Huntersville)
Take a ride through nature on a guided Segway tour. Adults-only can explore the reserve on two-wheels, but Nature Center staff will be will be on-hand to entertain children ages 4 and older with the Nature Play and Crafting Program (register kids separately here).

Friday, Nov 3 (Friday – Sundays – November 5)
Rural Hill Amazing Maize Maze, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.*Check times here, ($8-11)
Historic Rural Hill (Huntersville)
Get lost in the fun at the giant seven acre corn maze featuring more than two miles of interconnecting paths. Take a hayride, play cornhole, and hike the trails.

Wild Wonder Saturday: Tales and Tails, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ($6-$10)
Museum of York County (Rock Hill)
Guided nature tours, mystery hunts, demonstrations and activities will inspire kids and adults to explore the natural world.

Dads+Football+Brews, 1:00 p.m.
Free Range Brewing (Charlotte)
Cheer for the Panthers with other new dads and young families, and maybe pick-up a few pro-parenting tips. Non-alcoholic beverages and children’s area provided.
