The 100 Words Film Festival challenges you (and the filmmakers from over seven countries) to say more with less. As part of the festival’s fourth year, Friday’s event features the best works from the past three years, with many of the filmmakers returning for the special screening. $15.
Dia De Los Casi Muertos

This multimedia project explores the cultural differences between Mexican and American experiences, specifically surrounding the taboo topics of death and aging. Discover a new perspective and enjoy the closing celebration on November 3 with a performance by XOXO. Free admission.

Jackalope Jacks Re-Launch Party in Plaza Midwood

HOTEL CALIFORNIA: A Tribute to the Eagles

Six-time Grammy Award nominee Nnenna Freelon will join the Ziad Jazz Quartet for a night of classic songs, including “God Bless the Child”, “Let It Be Me”, Stevie Wonder’s “Lately”, and “Smile”.
