Blue Nectar Tequila & Tapas

The Prickly Pear will host their first Tequila & Tapas event featuring Blue Nectar tequilas and a selection of tapas. Taste and discuss with the tequila maker himself.
Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner

A Morning with the Easter Bunny

Toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy Easter-themed crafts and snacks, plus be able to pose with Peter Cottontail himself. Free admission.
Evening with the Artist

Join owner and designer Brenda Vanhoy in a celebrate of Pairings for Spring. Take in the works, listen to live music, nibble on light bites and sip on wine while mingling with the artist.
SATURDAY
Battle of the Badges Community Blood Drive
Birkdale Village, Huntersville | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Huntersville Fire Department, Huntersville Police Department and Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office face off in an annual battle to collect the most donations to benefit Community Blood Center of the Carolinas. The winning organization receives a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice. After donating, stick around for music and family activities.
2nd Annual Easter Begg Hunt
Three Dog Bakery Lake Norman | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Fido can get in on the Easter fun by sniffing out over 1700 treat-filled Easter “Beggs”. $10 per dog, Benefits Catering to Cats and Dogs & Lucky Labs Rescue.
Hop Into Spring
Robbins Park, Cornelius | 2 – 4 p.m.
Families and little ones ages 3 – 12 will enjoy an afternoon of Easter and egg-themed activities, arts and crafts, music, inflatables and concessions. Free admission.

The older kids will love this twist on the classic Easter egg hunt. Search high and low for glow-in-the-dark eggs once the sun goes down at Lake Norman High School. The event also includes food, live music, inflatables, crafts, face-painting, games and more.
Denim & Diamonds Casino Night
Historic Langtree Plantation, Mooresville | 7 – 11 p.m.
The 2018 North Meck Woman’s Club Denim and Diamonds Casino Night is your chance to enjoy Vegas-style gambling, live and silent auctions, raffles, live jazz and more for a cause.
The event benefits six local charities: Angels and Sparrows, ANSWER Scholarship, Beds for Kids, Caterpillar Ministries, Hope House Foundation and Serenity House.
4th Annual LAMB 5K / Fun Run
Cornelius Road Park, Mooresville | 9 a.m.
The 4th LAMB 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run raises money for intellectually challenged students at schools in the Mooresville/Troutman area. Lace up for the 5K route, or get the whole family involved in the Fun Run. Stick around afterwards for a DJ, vendors, prizes and more.
SUNDAY
Chocolate & Beer Tasting

Move over, wine. See how these brews pair with chocolate in a curated pairing of six craft beers and six handmade chocolates. $20 per person.
4th Annual Bowling for Brody
George Pappas’ Victory Lanes, Mooresville | 3 – 6 p.m.
Wrap up your weekend by bowling for a cause. Off the lanes there will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and door prizes. Lunch and soft drinks are included for each paying bowler. $25 for adults and $15 for children. All proceeds will go the Brody Thompson Foundation.
