THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF CHARLOTTE is launching a new spring fundraising speaker series titled JLC Working Lunch. The first annual luncheon will feature four time New York Times best selling author Gretchen Rubin on Thursday, April 12th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Marriott Center City.
Gretchen Rubin is known for exploring how we can make our lives happier, healthier, more productive and more creative in her books, blog and podcast. Managing a hectic life is always a topic of conversation whether you’re a working mom or a young professional, Rubin focuses on reminding women to schedule time for themselves.
In her latest book The Four Tendencies, she discusses four personality profiles; the Upholder, Questioner, Obliger, and Rebel. Over one million people have taken the quiz to find out which one they identify with, find out which one you are here.
General admission tickets are sold out but you can still purchase a VIP ticket which includes a meet and greet with Gretchen Rubin before lunch and a copy of her book The Four Tendencies.
All money raised from the Spring Speaker Series will be used for the Junior League’s Community Impact fund which focuses on the physical, dental and mental needs of children and their families in the Charlotte community.
