Veterans Park, Huntersville | 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Huntersville’s downtown music series is the perfect way to kick off your weekend. Watch the Summerdaze Party Band jam on stage, enjoy dinner from food trucks and grab wine or beer from Diner Vineyards, Primal Brewery and Eleven Lakes Brewing. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets.

Runs and Rescue Night
Moor Park, Mooresville | 7 – 10 p.m.

Lake Norman Humane and the Mooresville Spinners team up for this special family fun night featuring adoptable pups, raffles, giveaways and $1 beer. The Spinners and the Morganton Aggies take the field at 7 p.m. $5 tickets available at the gate.

Revision IPA Night/Meet the Co Founder/Brewer
Ultimate Ales, Mooresville | 6 – 9 p.m.

Nevada-based Revision Brewing is the is the guest of honor at this tap takeover at Ultimate Ales. Enjoy beers including their Planet Lovetron NE IPA, Sparkle Muffin NE IPA, State of Haze NE IPA and Revision DIPA.

LangTree LIVE: Abacab – Colby Dobbs
LangTree Lake Norman, Mooresville | 7 – 9 p.m.

Colby Dobbs takes the stage at this week’s LangTree Live concert series. Visit the shopping and restaurant retailers, grab a craft beer from D9 Brewery and park your lawn chair to enjoy the show. Admission is free.

FRIDAY

2nd Friday Street Festival
Oak Street Mill, Cornelius | 6 p.m.

Cornelius’ monthly street festival returns with a line-up of live music performances, food trucks, craft breweries, local artisan vendors, kids activities and more.

Cork Gose Funky
Cork and Cask, Cornelius | 7 – 10 p.m.

Break out of your rut and try something new as Cork and Cask features salty and sour goes and sour brews. Find a new favorite on draft or take a can or bottle home to enjoy over the weekend.

High Branch/King Canary Dual Tap Takeover
Ultimate Ales, Mooresville | 6 – 9 p.m.

Try the collaboration IPA between High Branch Brewing Co. and King Canary Brewing Company at Ultimate ales. Meet both owners and the brewers and enjoy a special tap list.

R & D (Research & Drinking) Event “Deadly Confections”
Ghostface Brewing, Mooresville | 8 – 10 p.m.

Ghostface’s next research and drinking event includes unlimited samples of seven new beers from the brewery’s “deadly confection” dessert series. Vote for your favorite and it might just go into production! $20 per person.

Yoga in the Park

Heroic Ventures Super Heroes & Enchanted Elegance Princesses Day
201 Huntersville -Concord Rd, Huntersville | 8 a.m. – Noon

This super hero and princess themed day at the market makes picking up local produce the most fun errand you’ll complete all week. Take advantage of the photo opportunity as kids learn more about their local market. Free admission.

Rosy Crumpton: Reading + Signing
Main Street Books, Davidson | 4 – 5 p.m.

Main Street Books will host local author and community advocate Rosy Crumpton for a reading and signing of her debut novel, All I Left Unsaid. Based on true events, the novel celebrates  Panamanian culture and the complicated themes of home and family.

Davidson Farmer’s Market
Downtown Davidson | 8 a.m. – Noon

Come Saturday, Davidson’s famers market will be abuzz with local producers offering handpicked produce, homemade goods, prepared foods, baked goos, flowers, plants and more. Open 8 a.m. – noon.

Imusination – A Family Talent Showcase

Crawfish & Cornhole
Harvey’s Cornelius | 1 – 6 p.m.

Business Leaders Unleashed and Harvey’s team up for a Sunday funday complete with a cornhole tournament, live music, kids activities, giveaways and an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil.

Ice Cream Social
Three Dog Bakery Lake Norman, Cornelius | 1 – 3 p.m.

Celebrate national ice cream day by treating your pup to a sweet treat. Three Dog Bakery will host a topping bar for your sundae, as well as treats for humans. Free with any donation to Lucky Labs Rescue.
