Boatyard Eats Opening Day

Beginning Thursday, Cornelius locals will have a new spot to gather. BoatYard Eats is expected to open August 23 featuring a rotating schedule of local food trucks and breweries, plus a consistent live music line-up.
Home Grown: Sprouts Closing Reception
Cornelius Arts Center | 5 – 7 p.m.
The Home Grown: Sprouts exhibition features over 250 mixed media works created by 2018 Summer Arts & Recreation Campers ages 4 – 16. Meet the young artists, enjoy their works on display and enjoy refreshments.
Sunset Kayak Tour
Latta Nature Center and Preserve, Huntersville | 6:30 p.m.
Get a guided tour of Mountain Island Lake, including lessons on its history and how we can all protect it, Â as the sun sets. $15 for a single kayak, $20 for a tandem.
