Siggy’s Good Food Grand Opening – Open Now!
Help welcome Siggy’s to the neighborhood, where comfort food and Mediterranean fare meet. Try their salads, sandwiches, juices and smoothies, all crafted with organic and locally-sourced ingredients. Find them at 1001 Belmont Ave.
MERE’s Curated Gourmet – Open September 5
Coming to The Courtyard Shopping Center in Dilworth, Mere’s Curated Gourmet will offer a wide array of wine, cheese and charcuterie. Expect a by-the-glass wine tasting experience, a create-your-own tasting board option of cured and salted meats and cheeses, along with preorder options for special events.
Your Mom’s Donuts – Opening September 12
Beginning September 12, you can now grab your favorite handcrafted treats made with local and seasonal ingredients at Park Road Shopping Center. Stop by the former Key Shop Space to visit Your Mom’s Donuts’ third location.
Pour Taproom Charlotte – Opening in September
Everyone will find something they love when Pour Taproom comes to Plaza Midwood in September. The self-pour taproom will feature 118 taps, the most in the country, and include a rotating variety of craft beers, wines, ciders and even root beer.
Sukoshi – Opening soon
The fast-casual concept from the owners of O-Ku is expected to open soon at 101 S. Tryon Street. Perfect for workday lunches, Sukoshi will specialize in small plates of fresh sashimi, specialty rolls, grab-and-go-sushi and customizable salads and bowls.
Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo – Opening in September
A new rooftop destination is aiming to take Charlotte’s drink and culinary scene to new heights. Coming in September, Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo will offer Instagram-worthy views, handcrafted cocktails, seafood dishes and more served in a plush indoor/outdoor setting dotted with curated local art. They will also have a penthouse suit available for rent. Find them at the top of AC Hotel & Residence Inn at 220 E. Trade St.
Legion Brewing SouthPark – Tentatively Opening September 12
The first brewery in SouthPark will offer an award-winning beer selection, a full food menu, taproom, an expansive outdoor beer garden and multiple spaces for your private events. Legion Brewing SouthPark is expected to open this month at Capitol Towers.
Town Brewing Company – Opening September 28
Wesley Heights will get their first brewery on September 28. Expect a large variety of beers, from IPAs to to sours, and a menu of small plates perfect for sharing. Visit them at 800 Grandin Road.
Two New Concepts from Urban Food Group – First Coming in Q4
Urban Food Group, the restaurant group behind Vivace, will launch two new concepts later this year. Bar Marcel will open at Morrison in SouthPark, offering Italian fare with Spanish and French influences. The group’s second yet-to-be-named concept will open in the StoneCrest shopping center and offer a menu rooted in old-school Italian fare with an extensive wine list.
Groucho’s Deli – Opening Soon
Since 1941, Columbia, SC and surrounding areas have enjoy Groucho’s trademark subs, famous dressings and larger-than-life salads. Soon, we’ll be able to enjoy them in Charlotte as their newest location opens at 5110 Park Road 1G.
Two Closings – Living Kitchen in SouthPark and The Liberty in Blakeney
Unfortunately this month also brings news of two closings. Living Kitchen in SouthPark announced on Instagram they would no longer be serving at that location after August 25. The original location in Atherton Mill remains open. The Liberty in Blakeney also announced their closing on Facebook on August 13.

New Unlimited Brunch at Upstream Seafood
Chef Kato has rolled out an “unlimited brunch tasting menu” which allows guests to try numerous dishes (and as many as you like) all for just $26 per person. Start with the Country Ham on Bao Bun, followed by a Kabocha Pancake and an order of the Avocado Toast. Still hungry? Choose more items from the list of almost 20 tasting dishes to satisfy your appetite. Guests who prefer a more traditional breakfast portion are welcome to order any item a la carte. Tailgate during each Panthers game in rooftop style at Merchant & Trade while enjoying beer specials, a featured game day inspired food menu and spirit-driven craft cocktails. Doors open at 2 pm on Sept. 9 and at noon all other Sunday home games. (Hours subject to change based on Panthers schedule. Game-day dress code will be upheld on Panthers games.)
Order the “Riverboat Ron Roll” through September at The Cowfish
Act fast to try the Riverboat Ron Roll at Cowfish, created by the Panthers Head Coach himself alongside Master Sushi Chef Rifali Almunir. The Riverboat Ron ($17) has a crunchy interior made from soft-shell crab, mani and cucumber, is topped with avocado, eel sauce and spicy mayo and served with a side of poke and avocado. $2 from each roll sold will benefit the Humane Society of Charlotte.
Brave Bone Broth at Reid’s Fine Foods Uptown
Reid’s Uptown will start carrying Brave Bone Broth, known for its health benefits and rich flavor, on Wednesday, September 5. To celebrate, they’ll offer free cups of broth Uptown on Wednesday while supplies last. Don’t miss your chance to give it a try! Brave Bone Broth will be available at Reid’s Uptown location beginning September 5, with other stores soon to follow.

Amélie’s French Bakery & Café Launches New Autumn Menu
The already heavenly menu at Amélie’s is getting a makeover for fall with over 30 new items featuring seasonal flavors like apple, clove, pumpkin, pistachio and spiced cherry. We can’t wait to try the caramel apple and pumpkin pecan praline French macarons, spiced pumpkin tea cakes, spiced pumpkin and cream cheese entremet, the spiced pumpkin macaron ice cream sandwich, salted caramel apple cider and more. The fall menu will be available through the end of November.
