Upstream joins with Your Mom’s Donuts to bring South Park an ‘Upstream Morning Cafe’ featuring Your Mom’s Donuts and a selection of Counter Culture coffee, teas, lattes and cappuccinos. Starting on Monday, November 12, Upstream will open in the morning from 7am-10am, prior to lunch hours, to serve a a variety of donuts, drinks, and other house-made treats.
Phillips Place ‘Upstream Morning Cafe’ is the answer to local residents expressed desire for a convenient spot to be able to grab coffee, tea and a little something sweet on weekday mornings ~ the closing of D&D certainly left a hole in the breakfast line up at the shopping center. Upstream owner Tom Sasser explains, “Our friends at Phillips Place told of about a need in the area and we wanted to help fill that gap. Our location offers convenient parking for a quick morning stop before heading to work or dropping the kids off at school – or plop down at a table and get some pre-work done on our WiFi and watch the morning new shows or ESPN on our wide screen tv’s.”
The Cafe’s Your Mom’s Donuts will be made fresh from scratch each morning at their Matthews location. If you aren’t familiar, Your Mom’s Donuts is a craft donut shop serving greater Charlotte since 2013 when owner Courtney Buckley started the business with home deliveries. Now operating in Matthews, Monroe, and at Park Road Shopping Center.
