5 Church is your single destination for dining and toasting. Start off with a four-course menu and champagne, then stay for the New year’s Eve party featuring an open bar and buffet, live DJ and dance floor, champagne toast and party favors. Welcome the New Year with a premier view of the Uptown skyline at Fahrenheit. Harper’s SouthPark and Pineville

The next day, start the year off right with a traditional meal of grilled porterhouse pork chop, collard greens, low country ‘hoppin John’, and cornbread along with the regular menu beginning at 11 a.m. Plan to arrive early as supplies are limited.

Steps away from Uptown Charlotte’s official New Year’s Eve celebration, Haymaker will offer a pre-fixe menu at three seatings: 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Choose from small plate options like smoked chicken thigh with shaved truffle and smoked chili cream, large plates featuring New York strip with heirloom winter squash and hakurei turnips plus a sweet finish of chocolate silk pie or parsnip cake for dessert. $65 per person plus tax and gratuity. Chef De Cuisine Matt Slezak will offer two special menus for both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day highlighting fresh swordfish and lobster, American caviar, filet mignon and a variety of scratch-made desserts.
