Peter Rabbit Visits Daniel Stowe April 6 and 7 from 11 am to 3 pm each day
Peter Rabbit will pay a special visit to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden along with his friends on April 6 and 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. INFO HERE.
Morning with the Easter Bunny at Cornelius Arts Center on Friday, April 12, 10 am – noon
Bring your toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy Easter-themed crafts, snacks, and a chance to take a photo with Peter Cottontail himself! Don’t forget to bring your camera or smartphone to this free, fun seasonal event.
Flashlight Egg Hunt in Lowell NC at Harold Rankin Park, Friday, April 12 6:15 – 8 pm
On Friday, April 12th, grab your flashlights and Easter egg baskets for a fun evening at Harold Rankin Park
- The 3 and under daylight egg hunt starts at 6:15pm on the t-ball field, which is directly behind the Boys & Girls Club.
- The 4-6 year old sunset egg hunt starts at 7:15pm on the t-ball field, which is directly behind the Boys & Girls Club.
- The 7-12 year old egg hunt starts at 7:30pm on the baseball field, which is the field closest to the parking lot.
Special appearance by the Easter Bunny from 6:30pm-7:30pm. There will be thousands of eggs and a few special prize eggs.
The Easter Bunny Express Rides Again at the NC Transportation Museum April 13 & 14 and 19 & 20

Naturalist Egg Hunt at Winghaven Saturday, April 13, 10 am – noon
Celebrate spring in one of Charlotte’s most beautiful outdoor locations. Children will make binoculars to help guide them through the gardens during a naturalist egg hunt, “spotting” songbirds and learning about each one along the way. In addition to the “hunt”, seasonal crafts and activities will be spread throughout the garden for families to enjoy as well as light refreshments. Recommended for children ages 10 and under and their families. Space is limited, register in advance. $15/member family and $20/non-member family
Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Rosedale Plantation Saturday, April 13 10 am – 2 pm
Events at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, & 1:00 $10* per Child Explore enchanting gardens and wander through our ancient boxwood as you and your child hunt for Easter eggs left by the Easter Bunny himself. There will be 4 egg hunts, each starting at the top of the hour between 10:00 & 1:00. The eggs are filled with fun treats and educational facts about the plantation. Each participant will also leave with a small take-away gift.

SPG Brunch With The Bunny at Southpark Grill, Sunday, April 14, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
SouthPark Grill invites you and your family for brunch and a little one on one time with the Easter Bunny on April 14, 2019 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Children under 5 years old will eat for free, $35 for adults and $20 for children ages 5 – 10 years old. Price includes a photo with the Easter Bunny (printed onsite), brunch and a special treat for attending. Reservations are required to attend. The Great Easter Egg Expedition plus Lunch With the Easter Bunny Friday | Photos with the Easter Bunny Saturday at Matthews Community Cente
The Great Easter Egg Expedition
April 5th through April 21st, several thousand eggs will be hidden throughout the parks and Greenway in Matthews. At a point during each of the three weeks, eggs will be hidden in Stumptown, Squirrel Lake, Windsor, and Sardis parks. Eggs will also be hidden along the Greenway, (the John Street entrance to the Chesney Glen access-point portion). Eggs will be multi-colored and will contain small toys. Participants are welcome to keep the eggs they find. BUT! Find one of the 12 GOLDEN EGGS, bring it to the Matthews Community Center, and you will receive one of the Expedition’s Grand Prizes!!
Plus Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny will be available for three hours on Saturday, 4/13 to take posed pictures with children and family. (Furry family members are welcome, too)
Queen City Easter Festival Saturdays April 13 and April 20, 1 – 5pm
The 2019 Queen City Easter Festival at the Carole Hoefener Center is full of festivities such as face painting, games, dance performances, crafts, vendors, food and more! There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt and FREE Easter Bunny pictures.

Pet Photo with the Easter Bunny at Concord Mills Sunday, April 14, 6 – 8 pm
Bring your furry friend for photos with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm! All pets must be leashed or in a carrier, and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. If you are attending this event please enter and exit through entrance #2. Shopping or dining before and after with your pet is not allowed.
Snoopy the Easter Beagle and Eggward the Easter Bunny at CAROWINDS April 15 – 21, 10 am – 10 pm
FREE with admission to Carowinds, Grab your Easter basket to hunt thousands of colorful Easter eggs hidden all through Camp Snoopy. Other egg-cellent, family-friendly Easter activities include crafts and select live shows throughout the park. Make sure to bring your camera, because Snoopy and Eggward will be dressed in their Easter best and egg-cited for their photo op with you.
Nascar Hall Of Fame Easter Egg 400 Saturday April 20, 8:30-11:30 am
Hop over to the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 20, for the fifth annual Easter Egg 400. During this festive morning, little ones join the Easter Bunny for a morning full of entertainment and games—balloon twisting, face painting, egg relays and more—plus a photo opportunity. And during the signature egg hunt, each child will take home a carton of eggs filled with candy and prizes.

The Latta Annual Easter Egg Hunt is an organized event for young children ages one to ten. Each Easter egg will be filled with sweet treats and dozens of grand-prize eggs will be given including free family memberships, summer camp discounts, and goodie-baskets filled with fun things.
The day includes photo opportunities with Baxter the Bunny, story-time, crafts, meeting the farm animals, and enjoying a stroll around the Latta Plantation home and grounds.
6th Annual Easter Extravaganza at Ballantyne Village Saturday, April 20, 1 – 3 pm
From 1 to 3 pm, kids can have fun while playing with bunnies, making arts and crafts, getting their faces painted, a balloon artist, and jumping around in the bouncy house. Make sure you get your photo of your kids with the Easter Bunny!
