April 11 – 14 | UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens
Pick up new selections for your garden with the help of knowledgable staff at this year’s Spring Plant Sale. Shop an array of native plants, colorful annuals, wildflowers, perennials, trees and shrubs, exotics and more. Member preview sales is on April 11, opening to the public on April 12. All proceeds support the operations of the gardens and greenhouse.
Mozart Requiem

The Green Jacket Watch Party
April 11 – 14 | Brewers at 4001 Yancey
Brewers at 4001 Yancey will host a weekend-long Masters viewing party complete with specialty cocktails, a southern style feature menu, golf-themed games, giveaways and more.
9th Annual Charlotte Black Film Festival
April 11 – 14 | Charlotte Convention Center and Studio Movie Grill
The ninth annual Charlotte Black Film Festival will celebrate the best in film, fashion and music with events including film viewings and The Fashion of Film competition. View all featured films here. $30 for a single day movie pass, $45 for a two-day movie pass.

Celebrity Chef Marc Forgione at Mimosa Grill
Celebrity Chef Marc Forgione will be making a guest chef appearance at Mimosa Grill Thursday, April 11 for a very special evening benefitting Cookies for Kids Cancer. On this evening Marc joins Mimosa chef Tom Marlow and sous chef Brittany Cochran and they will be offering a chance to enjoy one of Marc’s signature dishes, Chili Lobster with Texas Toast. The proceeds from this dish will benefit Cookies for Kids Cancer.
The Queen and Glass Guest Chef Series

As part of The Queen and Glass’ guest chef dinner series, Chef Paul Verica from The Stanley will join mixologist Bob Peters for a five-course dinner paired with five cocktails. $100 per person.

Pulp Art: The 2019 Gala

For The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art’s tenth annual fundraising gala, the museum will transform into a stunning event space for an evening of entertainment, food, cocktails and activities. All proceeds benefit the museum’s operating costs, including exhibitions, public programs and community outreach initiatives that encourage an appreciation of the arts, culture, education and inclusiveness.
