ALL WEEKEND

2019 North Carolina Brewers & Music Festival
May 10 – 11 | Historic Rural Hill, Huntersville

This two-day festival includes live music by 11 bands and more than 40 North Carolina brewers. There will also be local food trucks and the option to camp onsite for the weekend.

THURSDAY

LangTree Live
LangTree Lake Norman | 5 – 9 p.m.

LangTree Live is back with free music every Thursday with beer available for purchase from D9 Brewing. This week, Bless the Rains will take the stage.

An Evening with Author Mary Kay Andrews
Davidson Ice House | 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Dine with fellow Mary Kay Andrews fans, enjoy a reading from the author, receive a copy of her forthcoming book Sunset Beach, and meet Mary Kay at this evening out. Tickets include event admission, dinner and a copy of Sunset Beach.

FRIDAY

2nd Friday Street Festival
Oak Street Mill, Cornelius | 6 – 10 p.m.

The 2nd Friday Street Festival series is back with a line-up of live bands, food trucks, craft breweries, local artists, kids activities and more. This week, the band Irrashional headlines.

Rosé in the Rose Garden
Wine Maestro, Mooresville | 1 – 4 p.m.

Toast to the warmer weather with tastings of rosé wines from three distributors. ​$20 per person, including appetizers.

A Celebration of Moms
Huntersville Athletic Park | 9:30 a.m.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a brief Stroller Strides workout followed by a party with a DJ, massages for moms, face painting for kids and a ton of great giveaways.

2019 Relay For Life of Lake Norman
LangTree Lake Norman, Mooresville | 4 – 10 p.m.

Make plans to join in the 2019 Relay For Life of Lake Norman to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones and continue the fight to end cancer.

Jazz Concert Series
Veterans Park, Huntersville | 5 – 8 p.m.

Huntersville’s Jazz Concert Series is back this weekend with more performances by NC and national bands including Johnny Conga & His Tropical Jazz Project, Mike Zinna Trio, Noel Freidline Quartet, and The Lovell Bradford Group ft. Emily Braden.

Girls on the Run 5K Presented by Novant Health
1000 Lowes Blvd, Mooresville | 9 a.m.

This non-competitive, unchipped, family-friendly event is open to the community and celebrates the limitless potential of hundreds of local girls who will cross the finish line with their running buddy at the 5K.

7 Days Band
BoatYard Eats, Cornelius | 7 – 10 p.m.

Head to BoatYard Eats to see the 7 Days Band play all of your favorite classic rock, dance, and modern pop tunes.

SATURDAY

Huntersville Growers’ Market – Grand Opening
Veterans Park, Huntersville | 8 a.m.

The Huntersville Growers’ Market is back this weekend. Be there as Chef Matt cooks up tasty samples for National Egg Month, plus enjoy face painting and balloon twisting for the kids.

How much heat can you take? This hot sauce challenge benefits Carolina Big Hearts Big Barks Rescue, who will be onsite with adoptable pups. There will also be beer from Sierra Nevada, King of Pops and “Prosecco Poptails”. $20 admission for the contest.
