Veterans Park
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get ready for outdoor entertainment. Drinks, popcorn, candy available for purchase. Movies start 5-15 minutes after sunset.

A fun afternoon in partnership with Long Trails to Happy Tails Dog Rescue; puppy cuddles, wagging tails and a pint or two. There will be raffle prizes, and Lake Norman Furtography will be available for mini sessions with you and your pups.

In celebration of the Year of the Snake for NC State Parks, join a park ranger in a discussion about snakes and meet a real snake.

Occupied! Redcoats & Revelry Tavern Night
Historic Latta Plantation
Join the Scottish Highlanders for a thrilling, interactive, after-hours experience at Historic Latta with 18th Century games, live music, and ale. The immersive night will keep you on your toes with the reenactment of a lively colonial tavern. Admission includes beverages, tavern bites (finger foods) and beer from Olde Mecklenburg Brewery.
