24 Hours of Booty

The 18th annual 24-hour fundraiser for Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children’s Hospital, The LIVESTRONG Foundation and Queens University of Charlotte returns this weekend. Cheer on the more than 1,200 riders and 200 walkers as they make their way through the three-mile “Booty Loop”.

Firefighters’ Pancake Breakfast

The 7th Street Public Market and the Charlotte Fire Department join forces for the 13th annual Firefighters’ Pancake Breakfast to benefit the NC Firefighters’ Burned Children Fund. Charlotte firefighters will be on-site cooking pancakes (plain or blueberry) for a $3 suggested donation for a kids’ plate and a $5 suggested donation for adults. All proceeds from the breakfast go directly to the Firefighters’ Burned Children’s Fund- Charlotte Mecklenburg Chapter.
