Blue Flowers, a new upscale CBD boutique open on Sharon Rd. in SouthPark, celebrates its Grand Opening on Saturday, Sept. 7. You can enjoy an entire day of grand opening festivities, from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m., filled with opportunities to ask questions, learn from local growers and interact with the staff of the city’s first pharmacist-owned retail CBD outlet. There will be health coaching, skincare demos & samples, special discounts, even CBD cocktails & mocktails making.
“CBD is still a mysterious product to many, and we wanted to be able to utilize our expertise to educate people on the benefits of CBD and debunk false stigmas,” says Colby Brown, a corporate executive, who conceptualized the store with his business partner/wife Joslyn Brown, a pharmacist.
Blue Flowers (in the Terraces At SouthPark, the center with the Fed Ex), offers a highly-curated selection of products in a variety of categories including wellness, bath and beauty, recovery, and pets.
Among the high-end product lines that will be represented: Mazz Hanna (award-winning high-vibration skincare products that have attracted celebrity clients such as Julia Roberts, Halsey and Selma Blair), Beboe (featured in Vogue and Vanity Fair, sold at Barneys), Populum, Cordial Organics and Wildflower.
The Saturday, 9/7 Grand Opening day festivities include:
11 a.m. Blue Flowers Health Coaching: Blue Flowers Health Coach Julianna Moore will share details about how CBD can be incorporated into a healthy lifestyle. Julianna will be available all day to discuss our program and options. (10% off all new clients who sign for coaching on Sept. 7)
12-1 p.m. Importance Of Secondary Ingredients In CBD Products: Blue Flowers Wellness Expert Sasha McCullough will share insights into what positive and negative ingredients can be found in CBD products/what to look for and what to avoid/what essential oils and other ingredients pair well with CBD.
1-4 p.m. Meet The Farmers Of Appalachian Growers With Lori Lacey And Steve Yuzzi: The owner/growers will be on hand to answer questions about their farm, products and the trials and tribulations of opening a CBD hemp farm in North Carolina. (10% off all Appalachian Growers products 1-4 p.m.)
1:30 p.m. Meet Randall York of Great River Hemp Company: Learn about CBD infused honey through product sampling. (10% off all Great River Hemp products between 1-4 p.m.)
2:30-3:30 p.m. Cocktail/Mocktails With CBD: Blue Flowers Cocktail expert Logan Newbold will share recommendations and information for CBD products and cocktail pairings. (10% off all CBD products used in the recipes presented)

“We’re excited about being able to bring a service to SouthPark that can help a lot of folks strive towards a healthier lifestyle,” Colby says. He says there are plans for the store to host in-store farmer visits, workshops, private events and educational seminars.
