We’re in full on fall in the Queen City. And that means endless ways to get out and enjoy the season. From a Duke Mansion soiree to wine pairing events, here’s what to do this weekend in Charlotte.

Cicchetti & Wine Pairing with Giuseppe Locasio of GLC Wines

Shuck and Sip
SouthPark Grill | 4-8 p.m.

SouthPark Grill’s first Shuck and Sip event includes free oysters, live music by an 80s cover band and $1 donations from each drink benefitting The Greg Olsen Foundation. Afterwards, head to Legion Brewing for the after party.

Make & Mingle: Laser Cut Lanterns
Discovery Place Science | 6-8 p.m.

The next Make & Mingle event at Discovery Place gives participants the chance to make a fall-themed laser cut wood lantern. $50 per participant.

Show us your Glo Face
Lower Left Brewing Co. | 4 p.m.

Head to Lower Left Brewing Co. to carve your best pumpkin to display during the South End Halloween Crawl. Winner gets to display their pumpkin on the bar and a Lower Left Brewing Co. gift card. $10 gets you a pumpkin and your first beverage. Bring your own carving tools.

The Suffolk Punch | 6:30 p.m.

Executive Chef Eric Litaker and Brewer Brant Butler team up to present a five-course menu with beers selected to pair with the flavors of each plate. $65 per person.

7th Annual Growl-O-Ween
Bulldog Beer and Wine South End | 7-10 p.m.

Pick out your pup’s best outfit for Bulldog’s 7th Annual Growl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest and Fundraiser. Prizes will be given in several different costume categories.

Wine Dinner with Master Sommelier Max Kast
Corkbuzz Charlotte | 6:30 p.m.

Fall Funk Fest
The Unknown Brewing Company | 6 p.m.

This free festival includes multiple live music performances, a first look at Unknown’s Wood & Grain Project facility, the release of the “Squash Those Pumpkin Beers” brew, food trucks, pop-up shops, fall-themed contests and more.

Artist Reception: Nick McOwen

Viva Raw Alternative Milks Cooking Demo and Tasting

Plaza Midwood’s Fall Crawl returns with a costume party parade for the little ones, truck-or-treating and a full day of live music, vendors, local beer and more. Free for all Plaza Midwood neighbors.

Goat Yoga – S’mores + Drinks

2019 JDRF Hope Gala
