Ready, or not, the holidays are here, which means it’s time to start thinking about decorating for Christmas — and we all know the most important decoration of them all is typically the centerpiece of the home, the Christmas tree. Whether you like a full and fluffy tree, one that reaches the ceiling, or go for more of the Charlie Brown look, there’s no absolutely no shortage of places to go around town to purchase the perfect tree this year.

Live Tree Delivery
Charlotte Christmas Trees — Don’t have time to go cut down a tree, or, even the spare time to run out to get one? No problem, Charlotte Christmas Trees has you covered. You can order online and have your tree delivered directly to your house. And, delivery is FREE, which makes it even better. Trees start as low as $75 for 5 to 6-foot trees. (They deliver to Charlotte, Huntersville, Mooresville, Statesville, Concord, Cornelius, Mt. Holly, Belmont, and Gastonia.)

Trees in Uptown
Charlotte Christmas Village: Corner of 7th Street & N. Tryon St. (Tues.-Wed. 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Thurs.-Sat. 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sun. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Fresh-cut Fraser firs will be available for purchase through Blue Ridge Valley Farms at the Charlotte Christmas Village. In addition to trees there will also be wreaths and garland for sale. Delivery is available.

Simpson’s Produce: 938 S. Kings Dr. (M-Sun. 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.)
You can head over to Simpson’s Produce at the Farmers’ Market on Kings Dr. for almost all your decorating needs. This year they’ll have everything from 3 to 15-foot NC frasier fir trees, flocked trees, and tree stands, plus, a wide selection of wreaths, garland, and bows. (They also have a tree lot in Southpark at 4833 Sharon Road.)

Trees in East Charlotte
Hometown Heros: Several lots – see below (All lots open M-F 5 p.m. – until; Sat. 9 a.m. – until; Sun. 1 p.m. – until)
You can give back to those in need this year by making a purchase at one of the four tree lots run by Hometown Heros — a non-profit dedicated to supporting the families of children with cancer. Trees start at $60 and wreaths start at $15. Lots also have tree stands available for purchase.

Trees in North Charlotte

Located less than 30 miles from Uptown Charlotte in the small town of Denver, Grace Tree Farm offers visitors a wide selection of Christmas trees to choose from, including White Pine, Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, and Green Giant Arborvitae trees. You can choose to cut your tree or purchase one that is pre-cut. Wreaths, garland, and other holiday accessories like bows and ribbons are also available.

Trees in Steele Creek
Snowflake Village: 12201 S Tryon St. (M-Sat. 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sun. 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.)
At Snowflake Village you can purchase a tree and do some good this holiday season. The tree lot carries everything from Christmas trees and wreaths to garland. And, with more than 20 charity partners in the community that range from local Girl Scout Troops to Second Harvest Food Bank, you can be certain the proceeds from your purchase will go to a good cause.
